The Role
As the business continues to grow, a motivated and professional Residential Property Manager is needed to manage a steadily expanding portfolio (currently 100 properties) across Adelaide’s south western suburbs. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, proactive, and dedicated to delivering outstanding property management service.
Duties and Responsibilities
As their new Residential Property Manager, you will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of properties while delivering exceptional service to both landlords and tenants. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and work with well-maintained, south western located properties across Adelaide.
- Manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring high standards of service and maintenance
- Conduct regular property inspections and prepare accurate condition reports
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and liaise with contractors, landlords and tenants
- Manage tenancy applications, lease agreements and renewals in line with legislation
- Monitor rent collection, arrears, and maintain accurate trust accounting records
- Provide timely updates and advice to landlords regarding their property investments
- Prepare marketing and advertising campaigns for available properties
- Attend inspections and represent the agency professionally to clients
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both landlords and tenants
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in residential property management, ideally with at least two years in a similar position. A strong understanding of South Australian tenancy legislation and industry regulations is essential. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to managing your portfolio. The role requires current Property Management Registration and a valid driver’s licence. Exceptional time management, attention to detail and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team will be critical to your success.
