Our client is a family-owned local company with a significant commercial property portfolio.
About the Role
As a Commercial Property Manager, you will oversee a substantial number of commercial properties including office buildings, industrial warehouses, and single tenancies, predominantly located within 10–15 km of the CBD.
You will be responsible for maintaining the lease management framework, and for monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on leases and broader property management issues.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain an up-to-date tenancy schedule across the portfolio
- Review existing tenancy agreements and ensure all charges (including outgoings) are correctly captured and recovered
- Contribute to the effective management of property leases (both expenditure and revenue)
- Manage lease renewals and ensure timely implementation
- Ensure all rent reviews are captured and actioned within required timeframes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and stakeholders
- Handle conflict resolution and ongoing maintenance management
- Support business development and assist in securing new management contracts
- Prepare reports and correspondence as required
- Ideally, you hold a Property Management Certificate or are currently completing it
- Candidates with strong administration backgrounds who are willing to undertake studies will also be considered
