About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Conveyancer to join a well-established and highly regarded conveyancing practice. This role offers the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial conveyancing matters from commencement through to settlement, while working within a supportive and professional team environment. The successful candidate will be confident handling files autonomously, providing exceptional client service, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the conveyancing process.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage conveyancing files from commencement to completion with minimal supervision
  • Process matters through CATS, PEXA, SAILIS, EPIC, RevenueSA, ASIC, and other relevant systems
  • Prepare and manage residential and commercial settlement documentation
  • Draft authorities, settlement statements, Contracts of Sale, and Form 1 Vendor Statements
  • Prepare Torrens Title, Community Title, community scheme, and land division documentation
  • Assist with land division developments and associated legal documentation
  • Prepare and process documents required under the Real Property Act 1886
  • Assist with commercial leases and business settlement matters when required
  • Draft special conditions and other legal documents relating to conveyancing transactions
  • Support real estate agents and clients throughout the transaction process where appropriate
  • Assist with answering overflow phone calls and general office enquiries.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience managing conveyancing files from start to finish
  • Strong knowledge of residential and commercial conveyancing procedures
  • Experience using CATS, PEXA, SAILIS, EPIC, RevenueSA, and ASIC platforms
  • Ability to work independently while recognising when guidance is required
  • Strong drafting skills across conveyancing and property-related documentation
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
  • Professional presentation and commitment to maintaining a positive workplace culture
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
