This exciting role in Adelaide, South Australia requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills to drive infrastructure solutions and manage capital projects within a portfolio of works.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager, Major Projects to lead strategic accommodation and capital infrastructure initiatives.
This role requires expertise in the development, implementation, and successful delivery of large, complex projects, with a focus on innovation and long-term infrastructure planning.

Key Responsibilities include Leadership, Project Delivery, Strategic Focus and Property planning.
  • Lead and manage large-scale capital projects, including financial forecasting, budget preparation, and performance management
  • Leading a small, high-performing team to ensure the effective delivery of infrastructure projects with a focus on value for money.
  • Drive strategic planning for infrastructure portfolios, ensuring service excellence, governance and high-performing teams.
  • Managing the acquisition, design, and development of infrastructure, including managing leases, site acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Develop and implement business-critical programs, managing change processes and evaluating outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, representing the organisation in cross-department committees and negotiations.
  • Provide expert analysis and innovative solutions to emerging risks, delivering cost-effective results.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven expertise in project delivery, financial management, and infrastructure planning.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire performance and accountability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills including the ability to navigate complex business cases, evaluate risks, and provide clear recommendations
  • A Tertiary Qualification in Property or Project Management is highly regarded
Applicants must be have a current police clearance and a minimum of 2 contactable referees from previous direct Managers.
