The Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Inspection Manager to join a professional and friendly property management team in the inner eastern suburbs of Adelaide. This full-time position plays a vital role in ensuring that residential rental properties are well-maintained and compliant, delivering accurate and timely inspections that support both tenants and landlords.
Duties and Responsibilities
As their new Inspection Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting regular property inspections, maintaining detailed reports and ensuring all compliance and maintenance matters are managed efficiently.
- Schedule and conduct routine, entry, and exit inspections across residential properties
- Identify maintenance and safety issues with accuracy and attention to detail
- Prepare clear, professional inspection reports using Property Me, Tapi, and Tenant Options
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors to resolve maintenance or repair matters promptly
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and safety standards
- Collaborate with the property management team to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience as a routine inspection officer or property manager
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to write clear, professional reports
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, landlords, and team members
- Thorough understanding of relevant tenancy, safety, and environmental laws and standards
- Current Property Management Registration or Licence and a valid driver’s licence
- Proficiency in Property Me, Tapi, and Tenant Options systems
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently while maintaining high service standards
