Housing and Tenants Finance Officer

Our well respected client in the community housing area seeks a fantastic finance officer to assist during a busy period.
Our client provides early support for those facing financial stress, offering budgeting guidance and connecting people to counselling, grants, and community services across South Australia.
You will have experience in a similar role dealing with financial negotiation and setting up payment plans for rent and services.
You must have fantastic customer care skills and the ability to enter accurate information into the database.
This role will monitor rent and non-rent accounts to ensure accurate charges, on-time payments, and early action on arrears—maximising income while supporting tenants every step of the way.
The supportive and friendly team helps tenants understand income-based rent, Centrelink changes, and sets up reliable payment options like Centrepay.
You must have an ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of people experiencing social disadvantage
You must have current Working with Children and Police checks
This role is full time temp to cover during a busy period.
The role is based near Prospect and is full time,
This is an In Office opportunity - which makes it perfect for those that enjoy being in a team and around a 'buzz' of the office
