Housing /Tenancy Officer
Previous experience in community housing and tenancy management, property inspections and or property management. Great opportunity to move into the community housing space from residential. Applicants must have a current working with children clearance. Demonstrate your skills and dedication in a temporary capacity.
About the Role
We are seeking proactive and experienced individuals to join our talent pool as Housing and Tenancy Officers and Housing Administrators. This is a fantastic opportunity for those available immediately and open to short-term and longer-term assignments in the community housing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of properties/tenancies and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Following up arreras, statutory forms, form 5s, hearing lodgements
- Assist with data entry, maintaining accurate property and tenancy records, and preparing reports
- Managing complaints
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, tenancy inspections, and maintenance activities
- Handle tenant enquiries and direct them to the appropriate team members
- Support the team with general office duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in housing or tenancy officer roles or 2+ years working in residential real estate
- Strong communication and people skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A current drivers licence
- A current WWCC and Police check
