Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the presentation, maintenance and physical operation of a portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial properties
- Supervise service and maintenance contractors to ensure efficient and effective plant operation
- Monitor maintenance works and coordinate responses to tenant service requests
- Ensure all WHS and compliance obligations are met, including fire, lift, mechanical and electrical services
- Review existing service contracts and maintenance arrangements, including re-tendering where required
- Assist with the development and implementation of capital works programs
- Support the delivery of special projects and operational initiatives as required
- Coordinate after-hours contractor attendance and site issues when necessary.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum three years' experience in a Facilities Management or similar role
- Experience managing building operations across commercial property assets
- Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical services or a related discipline is highly regarded
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Proven ability to effectively manage contractors and service providers
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
