Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the presentation, maintenance and physical operation of a portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial properties
  • Supervise service and maintenance contractors to ensure efficient and effective plant operation
  • Monitor maintenance works and coordinate responses to tenant service requests
  • Ensure all WHS and compliance obligations are met, including fire, lift, mechanical and electrical services
  • Review existing service contracts and maintenance arrangements, including re-tendering where required
  • Assist with the development and implementation of capital works programs
  • Support the delivery of special projects and operational initiatives as required
  • Coordinate after-hours contractor attendance and site issues when necessary.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum three years' experience in a Facilities Management or similar role
  • Experience managing building operations across commercial property assets
  • Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical services or a related discipline is highly regarded
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to effectively manage contractors and service providers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
