Assistant Facilities Manager
6 Month Contract Opportunity | Docklands Location
We are currently partnering with a well known corporate organisation to recruit an Assistant Facilities Manager for a 6 month contract opportunity based onsite in Docklands.
This role will suit someone with prior facilities coordination or assistant facilities management experience who enjoys working in a fast paced corporate environment and has exposure to hard services and building operations.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the wider facilities and operations team, you will support the day to day management of a large corporate site, ensuring maintenance, contractor coordination and workplace operations run smoothly.
The position has a strong focus on hard services, including Mechanical & Electrical coordination, maintenance management and vendor engagement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee hard services and building maintenance activities
  • Liaise with contractors and service providers including electricians, HVAC technicians and other trades
  • Raise and manage work orders and purchase orders through internal systems
  • Monitor and action workplace maintenance requests and helpdesk tickets
  • Ensure service requests are completed within agreed KPIs
  • Assist with budgeting, monthly accruals and forecasting processes
  • Support workplace health and safety procedures across the site
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Assist with general facilities operations and day to day site support
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
  • Previous experience in Facilities Coordination, Assistant Facilities Management or a similar role
  • Exposure to hard services and commercial building operations
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience coordinating contractors and managing service requests
  • Ability to work in a fast paced corporate environment
  • Confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience using facilities management or helpdesk systems will be highly regarded.
