About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial property professional to lead the operational management of a significant and diverse property portfolio. This role oversees office, retail, residential and specialised property agreements while providing strategic advice on leasing, licensing, portfolio performance and risk management. Working closely with senior stakeholders and external partners, you will drive commercially sound property outcomes, negotiate complex agreements, and ensure the portfolio continues to support broader organisational objectives. This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially astute property leader who enjoys working across strategy, operations, financial performance and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operational performance of a diverse commercial property portfolio
  • Identify and evaluate new property opportunities, including acquisitions, renewals and disposals
  • Develop business cases and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership
  • Lead complex lease, licence and tenure negotiations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and manage commercial leases, licences and property agreements
  • Monitor portfolio performance, tenancy schedules, compliance records and reporting requirements
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, lease revenue and expenditure, rent reviews and outgoings reconciliations
  • Provide commercial property advice to support long-term planning and development initiatives
  • Engage and manage external agents, valuers and specialist consultants.
Skills and Experience
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Property, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Extensive commercial property management experience across large, complex portfolios
  • Proven ability to develop and implement property strategies aligned with operational and financial objectives
  • Strong knowledge of commercial leasing, licences and property agreements
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting landlord and tenant legislation, including retail and commercial leasing frameworks
  • Advanced financial management, budgeting and forecasting expertise
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to provide trusted advice to senior executives and key decision-makers.
