A well-established and growing business services organisation based in Adelaide is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer. About The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with a background in property or real estate to take ownership of the accounts receivable function. The role involves managing tenant accounts, processing payments, and ensuring timely collections, all while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts receivable processes across a diverse property portfolio
  • Monitor tenant accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Reconcile accounts and allocate payments accurately
  • Prepare regular reports on receivables and arrears
  • Liaise with property managers and tenants to resolve billing issues
  • Assist with month-end reporting and audit preparation
 
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
  • Previous experience in accounts receivable, ideally within the property sector
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MRI, Yardi, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
